How you will make a difference

Your role is to support the Listed Value Stream. You will work on the continuous improvement of the processes and systems that support the Listed Investments Our goal is to be a future-proof asset manager, by enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our processes and systems and bringing data to the heart of our organisation. We aim to make our impact more visible and empower our colleagues to manage these investments with confidence.

Take action

• You collaborate with the business and analyse existing business processes to identify opportunities for automation, leveraging the capabilities of our applications (mainly Bloomberg and eFront)
• You identify and document clear “epics” and “user stories” that developers and data engineers can typically realize in a few sprints
• You proactively organise workshops with the Business to identify improvements in the information systems and the process framework
• You manage suppliers and keep an eye on the change management chain for our applications, make test plans and address technical issues or bugs related to Bloomberg’s software
• You are involved in what data can bring Triodos Investment Management future innovations
• You are keen to join the network of stakeholders and make sure that the business finds us with their requests
• You work in close cooperation with (senior) management, end users and/or external parties to identify and follow-up on relevant operational risks and process improvements

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Have knowledge of asset management topics such as the life of a trade on regulated stock markets
• Have both business and technical skills to translate (complex) problems from business to systems
• Have experience in taking the responsibility to convert needs, insights, and concepts into concrete requirements and maintain a backlog with sprint goals (and you dare to say no when applicable)
• Like to bring frontline support to Bloomberg users, assisting with software inquiries, troubling shouting technical issues and answer user questions
• Possess sharp analytical skills and the ability to distinguish between the essential and the ancillary to quickly grasp processes and IT systems
• Are energised by facilitating workshops with the business and look at design thinking and/or Lean methods
• Have a mix of courage and organisational sensitivity, so you can easily get others along with you in your advice and decisions and making choices transparent

Furthermore, it is desirable that you have:

• Affinity with the mission and vision of Triodos Bank and Triodos Investment Management (TIM)
• Minimum of 3 years’ working experience as a Business Analyst, Application Consultant or Implementation lead
• A bachelor’s or master’s degree (i.e. Finance, Business Administration, IT) or equivalent certification
• Experience in the investment management sector and the Bloomberg application. eFront knowledge is a plus
• Skills in conceptual thinking and finding your way in file structures (xml and .csv) and BPMN
• Skills in data querying languages such as SQL
• Skills in business improvement methods like Lean, agile, design thinking etc.
• Speak fluently English
• Your home based in the Netherlands

Your future colleagues

You will be reporting directly to Head of Data Management, IT and Process and cooperate closely with your co-workers in the Business Analysis and Process team which has a close connection to the Data Competence Centre of Triodos IM. These teams are responsible for optimal support to the business teams regarding data management, automation and process management. We have a nice ecosystem of packaged applications, external providers, and self-built systems to support the Triodos IM co-workers in their daily work.
