UX Designer
32 – 36 hour contract
Profiel
How you will make a differenceAs UX Designer, you’ll take on complex and strategic design challenges, and share your insights to inspire and elevate the team.
At Triodos, you’ll have the freedom to shape this role according to your own expertise and ambitions. You’ll actively collaborate and brainstorm with the UX lead to help the team and the organisation grow in UX maturity. You’ll work on initiatives that truly improve the user experience for our customers – from the first idea to the final implementation.
Next to designing intuitive user interfaces and customer journeys for complex processes,
- You will share your experience to improve the quality of UX we deliver and inspire your colleagues
- You will organize and facilitate workshops and presentations to drive alignment and decision making
- You will apply service design methodologies to create consistent user experiences
- You will conduct user research to inform design decisions
- You will work with your fellow UX designers, the UX team lead and other stakeholders to determine what UX improvements to initiate
- You will contribute to product roadmaps and conceptual developments
- You will advocate for user-centered approaches

To be successful:
- You have a strong and proven portfolio of high quality UX and service design work
- You have a proactive and energizing attitude
- You have strong communication and coaching skills

Beside that:
- You have solid experience (at least 3 years) in taking the lead in discovering, designing and delivering complex UX and service design efforts
- You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in this field
- You have the capacity to create strong customer journeys to address end-to-end experiences
- You have experience with innovative design approaches and methodologies
- You are very familiar with Figma and how to leverage it to improve UX
- You can influence and change ways of working
- You have strong stakeholder management and organizational navigation skills
- When you have experience in the finances industry, that’s a bonus
Your future colleaguesYou will be part of our UX team, consisting of 4 internal UX designers, a few external designers and a UX Team lead. Beside operating in the UX team, you’ll be working closely together with product owners, developers and testers, domain leads, colleagues from our Commercial department and subject matter experts from across the organisation.
In our UX team we use Figma as the central tool for UX design and we use Ballpark to do (unattended) user research. Collaboration within the team and with the various development teams relies heavily on Jira and the Scrum process. Experience with these solutions and input on other tools and technologies to leverage are very welcome.
