The Bamford Community Society is a community run organisation in Derbyshire. They were established with the purpose of purchasing their local pub ‘The Anglers Rest'. Community ownership has enabled the development of facilities to meet their needs. Making the pub a hub of the community, it now also functions as a cafe and post office and has even bigger aspirations in the long term.
