The local community has come together to save The Drovers Inn, in Gussage All Saints near Wimborne, from closure. A community share issue and support from Triodos Bank has enabled the pub to become a community owned hub of local activity. The Drovers has been extremely successful to date, being awarded Best People's Project at the Dorset Community Action Best Village Competition 2016 and featuring on the BBC's Inside Out programme, local radio stations and in numerous press articles.
