For the Vendor Management department we are looking for an

Intern Vendor Management

min. 24 hours a week.

The Vendor Management department deals with all purchasing and supplier aspects of Triodos. From negotiating and maintaining supplier relationships to market research or determining the purchasing and outsourcing policy. But also, for example, an overview of all contractual agreements and monitoring obligations and compliance. We work for all parts of the groups in all countries, Belgium, Germany, Spain, the United Kingdom and the Netherlands. So a wide spectrum of activities and in our opinion we are the most beautiful department of Triodos!

The core of the assignment is to analyze all expenses and develop cost improvement proposals. All parts of Triodos, in the Netherlands and abroad, fall within the scope of this internship. On the basis of brainstorming sessions, data analysis, interviews and system research, you will get to work to investigate where the most improvement can be expected and then work out proposals together with colleagues from Vendor Management to achieve cost savings. This allows you to immediately see the effect of your work.We give you plenty of room for your own input. We warmly welcome good ideas for radically improving processes!


We expect from you:

  • That you feel personally connected to Triodos Bank's mission.
  • That you enclose a motivation letter describing why you want to do an internship at Triodos Bank.
  • A CV stating your work experience so far.
  • Good oral and written expression skills in Dutch & English.
  • That you are enrolled in a study program in the Netherlands or abroad.

For graduate interns:

  • We would like to receive a clear description of the (draft) research question you want to tackle.

All Triodos Bank offices are located at different locations in Zeist. You will meet regularly (bi-weekly) with your supervisor in one of these offices if Covid-19 measures allow this.
