Our organisation has grown in both scale and complexity over the last few years, creating more opportunities for young people to join us. The Impact Private Debt and Equity (IPD&E) department manages seven article 9 funds investing in debt, equity, and growth capital instruments along the themes of Financial Inclusion, Energy Transition and Food Transition, in emerging markets and Europe. The funds are managed by the fund management team. Specifically for the food transition we would like now to bring on board a dynamic and positive-minded student to support and learn during a 6-month internship (32-40 hours a week, starting December 2024)
Profiel
How you will make a difference
As an intern you will be part of the fund management team (5 fund managers, 1 associate fund manager and a fund analyst) and will contribute to all day-to-day activities of fund management
As a part of your daily routine:
- You will provide research, analysis and ongoing support to the development of a new fund concept in Nature Based Solutions & regenerative agriculture
- You will support the development of internal & external report and presentations as part of new fund development
- You will support the development of an investor engagement / fundraising strategy through research and management of pipeline / contact lists
- You will perform ad hoc tasks as required
This is you
- Last year student (preferably master’s degree) with excellent academics, in Finance, Economics, or Management
- Be enrolled at a higher education institution throughout the duration of the internship
- Strong command of MS Office software, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Perfect command of English oral and writing, other language (German, French or Dutch) would be highly appreciated
- Knowledge and interest in Sustainable Food or regenerative agriculture is a plus
- Previous internship / work experience is a plus
