In 2022 and 2023, Triodos Bank initiated a transition to a unified "One Bank" operating model. As part of this operating model, the new functional line of Commercial has been designed. This new organization design focuses on integrating all commercial strategy and marketing efforts. It is designed on two main customers segments that deliver value end-to-end to either businesses or consumers. To strengthen the commercial department, we are looking for a visionary leader with a broad experience in the field of business banking to take on the position of Commercial Portfolio Analyst in Personal Banking department.

How you will make a difference

You will help us to ‘finance change to change finance’, by providing, monitoring, and steering on the portfolio’s performance across the different product lines and business units. You’re responsible for monitoring the balance between Impact, Risk and Return.

This position develops and manages the group-wide pricing frameworks and policies for personal banking products. In close collaboration with other departments, ensure oversight of pricing strategies considering volume price effects in the short, mid and long term.

Together with your team:

  • You will be monitoring the Risk, Return and Impact progress, RWA allocation and distribution of ROE targets whilst considering market circumstances.
  • You will define, own and monitor the group-wide KPIs, budget and targets, identifies areas for improvement and initiates appropriate measures for enhancing performance.
  • You will manage the pricing tools across various segments and is accountable for establishing appropriate terms and parameters for effective execution.
  • You will ensure that the bank's financial and portfolio management practices comply with applicable regulatory guidelines and regulatory frameworks.

Furthermore, it is expected that you will have:

  • Relevant experience and knowledge gained in a similar position in the banking industry or financial institution
  • Proven experience in product-market-pricing analyses
  • Willingness and eagerness to understand and interpret the different interests and KPI’s.
  • The right insights to support the business decision making process which enhances the impact-risk-return performance.
  • The right understanding of (local) circumstances and (data-) requirements to support the business and providing the right management information to challenge the business.

Your future colleagues

You are part of a relatively small team, with a lot of stakeholders across the group. You will report to the Group Head of Personal Banking who have an end-to-end commercial responsibility for their customer segments. Together with the Group Heads and the Proposition Developer the team is responsible to set clear strategic guidelines and objectives for the business units.
